COX double billed me @ 265.00. At first COX said I had autopay(?) since March, 2020.That was incorrect. I had never signed up for such a thing. Autopay was not used in March, April or May, 2020 to pay bills. Surprise! It was used in June, 2020. At first without admitting their mistake COX said I would have the money COX owed me returned in 3-5 business days. That was on June 11, 2020. On Monday June15, 2020 I received an unsolicited email saying that my refund will be mailed to me as a check. This process would take 15 business days. In a following Chat I was informed that yes it will be mailed to me and would take 15 business days. Business days do not include weekends. When asking questions one receives a circular argument in response, for example: We mailed the check because we mailed the check. Why will it take 15 days? Because it will take 15 days. Very frustrating for a working man who supports two families. Where in the USA can it be mailed from that would take 15 days to reach another city in the USA? I must say the COX personnel on CHAT are courteous and are merely reading from a script written by obviously uncaring and unconcerned managers. Additionally, my service requires calls to COX to restart their programs about 5 of 7 days a week. What do consumers need? A COX competitor.
