We had such a good time here, everyone was warm and friendly and the food we great! We'd asked for a slight change to something on the menu and was made to feel like it was no bother, the chef made it from scratch for us. Would definitely like to go back

There is always a friendly welcome here from the excellent attentive staff and management. Well selected draft ales. Dogs welcome in the bar and the restaurant. Car park at rear and on street parking. Comfortable bar with open fire and a separate restaurant. We have eaten here three or four times and always been happy. The menu is fairly standard pub food but nicely varied in terms of soup / sausage / pie of the day. The hand cut chips are more like small roast potatoes. The prices are a little high for some things. For example 13-15 for a burger by the time you add a few things like bacon, cheese and mushrooms, which loses the Cowpers a fifth star for me. Although to be fair you do get it on a cheffy board instead of a plate for that. :)
Top pub with top staff. Good quality beers and wines available and amazing food. Well worth the drive or walk from Olney or MK to visit and step off straight into a country walk!
Absolutely amazing place. The service is amazing and the quality of the food is brilliant. If I could give more stars I would. Will definitely be going back again and recommending this place to others
Amazing food and portions were huge! Definitely recommend the ribs. Staff were great and so welcoming. 1st time there but will definitely be back for the brisket next time.
