A great little micropub in the middle of Cowes. Nice and cool on a hot sorting day. 3 gravity disowned real ales and 2 ciders. Highly recommended.
Turned up 40 minutes before shutting on our last evening in the island and they said they were shut while the doors were open and customers were inside.. Planned our day to finish it there with a supposedly enjoyable ale to no prevail. Not ideal when your only on the island for a few days. Misleading opening times \u200d️
Tom the landlord is welcoming and jolly and often buys regulars a drink, he's a hoot.
The Ale House is theat place you feel like home. Very friendly atmosphere.
