Yummy caribbean food at really reasonable prices - great portion sizes too. We shared saltfish fritters to start, then had jerk chicken, oxtail, rice and peas, steamed veg and plantain. All delicious.

Good food, good portion and very friendly staff. Definitely will come again and will recommend it. Although there is some in the menu is not available which I hope it will be there the next time I come. Just for sharing, there is a free parking just around the corner,. after 6pm you can stay longer than 2 hours
My favourite place to eat in Coventry, I've been limited to take out recently, but the food is just as delicious as when eating in, with generous portions and excellent gluten free menu options.
The food here is excellent, particularly the jerk chicken. Prices and portion size are good too. However, it seems as though they are struggling to cope with the demand in orders and have perhaps bitten off a bit more than they can chew. We've ordered online from them and their ordering system says that the food will be ready in 'up to 40 minutes', but it was actually over an hour before the food was ready. I suggest that Esmie either scale back on their ordering platforms or increase their capacity to meet orders in a timely way, because at busy times it does look as though they struggle to cope. I was not happy with having to wait for as long as I did and I could see there were many others waiting for their food too. Hoping they can take this feedback on board as I do like their food and concept.
Fun atmosphere and delicious food. Can't ask for more. Busy on even nights so booking recommended.
