Fabulous fish and chips enjoyed last night. Chips just how we enjoy them - crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Excellent social distancing system in place with no customers inside, an order and pay system at the front door all behind a screen. Top marks!

Drove to Illogan as wife wanted cod roe. They had a long queue out front so asked if they had any before queuing. The lady said yes so waited 20-30 mins for my turn only to be told with no sincere apology that they had sold out. Seriously, at 6.30pm on a Friday? Will not be going back. Edit: And now, in reply, you are calling me a lier! Cod roe is not normally pre-cooked so we always ask to make sure there's one ready for our turn at the counter. You clearly have no idea.
