Just been in County Carpets to pay for the carpets that have just been fitted. Great service many thanks to Martin for the fitting and Karen for all your help in ensuring that we got the carpet we wanted. Was recommended to go to this company as needed new flooring for a bedroom and bathroom. The assistants manner was disgusting! She came across as very condescending, as though we had walked into the wrong place without the means to afford the type of flooring on offer! She made a point of telling us that it was 70 per square meter and that the bathroom would cost 450 and that is without even seeing it or asking the size. In addition to this there would be the cost of skimming the floor etc. We were told that ‘they were very busy at the moment and would not be able to even look at it until the end of May’. It seemed all she was interested in was getting us out of the door! Business must be good... Maybe one day when business is a little slower they would be grateful of a potential new customer gracing there showroom.
County carpets the best ever. Martin put right a floor that was so badly damaged, nobody else would touch. We have had new flooring tiles on two occasions done to perfection. His workmanship is so professional it exceeds perfection. He is so neat and tidy during the process that id allow my dogs to float around with no concerns. Nor was I left with any clearing up at the end of the day. Karen was also amazing. Went out of her way delivering samples and regularly kept us updated with relevant info. We have been more than chuffed with Martin and Karen so much so that we,ll be returning for carpets within the next couple of weeks. Best ever and well recommended.
Having used County Carpets multiple times in the past and been extremely pleased with the service, workmanship and fair prices, we didn't want to go anywhere else for our recent requirement to carpet our new garden summerhouse. We were after something a little quirkier for this and having consulted with Martin, he offered a bespokely made striped carpet in grey and black - somewhat resembling that of a zebra crossing! County Carpets were able to arrange the sourcing, making and fitting in just under a week which suited us down to the ground. The finish is perfect and the joins barely visible. It is quite clear a great deal of time and effort had been spent on this. We'd really recommend County Carpets, they certainly lived up to expectations and went the extra mile on this occasion. Thanks Martin, it looks fabulous - roll on the new carpets in the house!
