Spent an evening here during our first trip to Cornwall, found it to be the most welcoming and friendly pub I have visited in a while. Nick was always polite and friendly, we sat down and ordered food which far exceeded our expectations, great quality and big portions, my wife had lamb shank and I had pork belly both were very nice (unfortunately we forgot to take pics). After dinner we had a few more drinks and enjoyed some music. Would reccomend the Countryman Inn to anyone.
Nice staff and decent selection of all drinks you would expect. Warm open fire and appropriately decorated in a way one would expect for a quiet country pub.
Sorry ate some of it before I took the photo. Bar staff 10/10 lovely welcome , nothing was to much trouble . Food 10/10 compliments to the chef . We had a table booked for 6pm which seemed a good time , place was busy but plenty of room.
We had steak wich was very good and Scampi plus desserts all to take away all food was well packed so stayed warm excellent service
