Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Recently refurbished and have a good variety of ales on at all times. Always warm inside and the log fire never goes out during the cold winter months.

Recently decorated. Tuesday night busy, nice Christmas atmosphere with carol's being sung by the regulars. Friendly bar staff, reasonable selection of ales. You won't need a 'big' coat - its warm in there!
