First time and called in on speck. Food was lovely, extremely friendly staff and overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We had a 14 year old and a 4 year old with us and the staff were great with both. I would have given 5 stars but our order came out incorrect, however this was rectified immediately.

Lovely pub/restaurant in country setting. Manager likes to come over to stand over you to say hello - normally a nice touch but in a time of a global pandemic he comes over with no face mask or covering!!! All waiters and bar staff wore a face shield and were friendly. Food was basic and over priced.
Lovely traditional English country inn set in unspoilt beautiful countryside. Varied menu including steaks, fish, vegetarian, grill & children's choices. These also a great specials board. Nice starters & sweets too! All are reasonably priced. Best of all is the nice range of draught ales! Dinning room is traditionally & tastefully decorated and very welcoming, although would be a bit crowded if all the tables were taken. There is outdoor seating with lovely views. I would recomend booking in advance.
