Desserts are the best, reasonably priced. Wasn't to keen on the baguettes. Didn't seem fresh. But we only really went for the desserts so kids were happy

We had afternoon tea here and the service was great. Sandwiches and cakes were all freshly made and beautifully pesented. Tea room is very clean, neat and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious especially the cheesecake.

Having seen the cafe advertised on Wales online I drove up from Cardiff to buy some of their well advertised Easter produce. Was informed that the items I wanted were out of stock and would not be available for another hour. As I have other tasks to attend to, I put forward a reasonable suggestion that I pay now and collect on my way through the valley in an hour or so (so I wouldn’t A: wait around for an hour after a 45 minute drive missing my appointment at the Opticians, or B: come out of my way again to be turned away as the items were out of stock once more). This was rejected outright, and the staff were obstinate and very unhelpful. I pointed out that I wasn’t local and had gone significantly out of my way to visit their store, and it was taking the best part of an afternoon to visit them. They didn’t give two hoots. A tad bit of flexibility, and I would’ve been very happy. Financially they would not have taken a loss, so everyone is satisfied with the outcome. Unfortunately, I have a sour taste in the mouth having wasted over an hour of my life, going out of my way to visit their cafe. Awful customer service, wish I hadn’t bothered
