Fundamentally I think the rda are a wonderful organisation however the sad contradiction here is that the Cotswold branch is closely affiliated with the Racecourse. They encourage their members to do the same. This is saddening for individuals such as myself that are passionate about equine welfare and understand the welfare issues with racing. Make no mistake, dozens of horses have perished and been destroyed at the Cheltenham races. Do work / volunteer with them if you wish but please know that in doing so you may be inadvertently supporting a very cruel and nasty industry.

Very kind staff here as it is RDA here you can go horse riding under the supervision of the staff plenty of car parking also in the grounds of Cheltenham Race Course
