Conveniently located in Tesco Supermarket, this cafe has a decent range of food and drinks, just the kind of lunch needed before the weekly shop!
The staff are great, but give them time when busy as only one person can deal with coffee while the other deals with cold drinks and food. This is due to social distancing so please be patient. Try the strawberry lemonade it is lovely.
Have been a regular customer since Costa opened in Tesco Bexhill. Today while queuing for coffee for myself & my wife ( one person a head of me ) so my wife went ahead through to sit at a designated seat. The Manger a tall slim fellow ordered her to Leave the table as it was “reserved for someone” which she did, when it was time for me to order our drinks the “ reserved seat” was still empty..no one sitting there, we were so upset at his abrupt manner we left, and carried on our shopping in Tesco. Twice I checked on the “ reserved seat” and still no one was sitting there and the seating area was almost empty of clients. We have also seen him order someone out of the Cafe due to the elderly lady not walking in the correct designated marked area on the floor. This man should not be a a Manager, he unlike Assistant Manager Zak never gives you a greeting smile or says good bye when leaving...he is in a word Arrogant. As for ourselves we left the store and walked down to M&S and had a pleasant coffee and snack at their Resturant which we will use 100% in future. My wife by the way has two replacement hips, hence the reason she, as per normal, ( as Zak Who was not on duty would know) did not stand longer than saw necessary.
