I was in there today asked for coffee to have in whilst waiting for receipt another customer came in and sat at the table I was going to Unbeknown to me I sat at a table which was not in use ,after about 5 minutes a staff member came and asked me to move as the seats were not in use I said there was sign but was told a small card was on the table stating that, yet the seats were not covered up as I got up the staff said there was no more seats so I should leave I was shocked and asked for a takeaway cup which I was given as I was getting it they said they had found me a table I looked at it and might as well have sat on the lap of the customer next to it. I have been a customer with Costa for a long time and the last time I was there they were great but this rude service has ended my custom with costa

I'm hoping this is for the Costa above Next and not the other one at Riverside. The two ladies who served me and my daughter were absolutely amazing today (19th August). Friendly, helpful but not too invasive. Although there was no seating available due to the current circumstances, they made us feel very welcome, safe and pleased with the fast and helpful service. They definitely deserve recognition as they went above and beyond and it made such a positive impact on us on our first venture out in a while, especially making conversation with my daughter about her sparkly shoes, it made her feel like there was some normality left :) so thankyou ladies.

The coffees were great but we sat outside and the tables and chairs were not cleaned and sanitized after each customer left.

Popped down to costa on riverside for a coffee before a meeting. Asked for an extra hot coffee and even checked before i left that it was. I drove home and it was Luke warm and only 3 quarters full !!! Woman serving on the coffee machine was very unhappy and clearly didnt want to be there. Not impressed
