Having trained our out of control 3year old jack Russell alfie the kelford way 10years ago ending up with a perfect little gentleman. We were delighted to be offered one of Florence’s beautiful pups a massive thank you to Kelly,Lyndon and Dave. We now have Benson at home with us settling in and already obeying basic Kelford commands really looking forward to working with our lovely pup.

Thank you Kelly and Lyndon, my Flat Coated Retriever is just about to turn 3 years old and he has become the most enjoyable canine companion I could ever of hoped for and it is all down to you and the bespoke training course you developed for me and my 'Peter Pan'. My Flattie attended your 6 week residential puppy course at 12 weeks old, your professional approach and empathetic attitude towards my beloved hound was so comforting to someone who has very little experience in dog training. I knew I had to make the extra effort early on and it clearly paid off. I will not hesitate to recommend you and your exceptional service to friends and colleagues. The puppies coming through your door are exceptionally lucky as we all strive to maximize the potential of our happy hounds.
Lyndon at Kelford was extremely diligent, compassionate and highly professional in training my cavapoo puppy. The after service was also top notch when I had follow up questions. Would certainly recommend.
Having completed an extensive search for an appropriate trainer for our GWP puppy we chose Kelly. Not only for the excellent reviews but also for her knowledge on the breed and HPR training - it also transpired that our dog was related to one of hers through the pedigree line ! We were aware the breed was renowned for their intelligence, as this dog has serious brains!! Kelly told us they can often be intelligent to the point of independence, and that usually tracks along stubbornness (especially in the face of training). And boy was she right - our dog pushed us to the point of giving up but we persevered under the guidance of Kelly and we can see significant improvements. Kelly advised we should go for the breed specific programme , to learn the basics. But it wasn’t only the dog learning , I have have learnt so much about the breed and now have a wonderful relationship with the dog . It has been difficult during lockdown not having the one to one interaction but Kelly keeps in touch and provides written instructions for home work . Once we are out of lockdown we will continue to work with Kelly to ensure we get the best out of him to excel in his HPR abilities . A truly wonderful experience for both the owner and the dog set in beautiful surroundings.
There's nothing more reassuring than feeling you're in the hands of someone who not only knows what they're talking about - but that they're passionate about sharing their knowledge and dog focussed life experience. That's been our experience of Kelly. From helping with our wayward Irish Terrier initially, Kelly's knowledge and experience were invaluable when we called to ask for help sourcing and training a companion (therapy) dog. From the outset Kelly was engaged and focussed on the challenge. In little more than a few weeks, she'd sourced an appropriate litter and hand-picked a suitable pup for her puppy training programme. The dog we subsequently bought home from Kelly is perfect - intelligent, obedient, loving and loyal. We couldn't ask for more, and having Kelly interested in following our progress as we become trainers through her weekly calls and weekly training tasks delivered as homework help create the ultimate personal handbook. To say we recommend Kelly unreservedly doesn't communicate our experience adequately. To describe Kelly and her son Lyndon's skills adequately we'd need to describe their services and training as unparalleled and unbeatable. They're simply a one-off pair. We can't say more - and we can't be more grateful.
