in my opinion there should be designated visitation areas for residents and there visitors... I won't even bring our 13year old to visitation because the residents that do not have visitors do not have any respect for the others and the family members. Some residents have elderly family and small children that are subject to the vulgar language and such out side at the picnic tables.. so please take some consideration on this matter so our 2 hour visitation is more respected by others
Words cannot express how poorly this place is ran...employees turning off the air in the heat of the day...the residents that reside at keeton are human beings just as well as the staff and should be treated as such....visitations taken away at time of visitation with no notice given to resident prior to visitation with no explanation given..minor child was extremely upset having went through that. Staff working that day admitted knowing about situation earlier that day without notifying resident of visitation privileges being revoked so that resident could notify family. Mrs Robinson knew earlier that day about visitation ...she is very unprofessional and needs to be talked to about the way she handles her job, residents and visitors. I have witnessed on several occasions how she talks to visitors and residents like trash....its ridiculous. She, in my opinion, should not be in a position of any kind of authority. I also expect no retaliation brought upon residing family member for voicing my concerns about company and staff.. On another occasion government issued mail was taken out of residents hands and opened up and read without permission. Is that policy? Is it also policy to leave male dormitory area open and refuse to close door while female residents had visual access to area? So many bad situations I hear that goes on at this facility. We as family members have rights as well as residents have rights. My family member resident spent days at work force filling out app after app looking for work. 5 scheduled interviews and has been denied access to go to interviews... I thought this place was to help you make it out in society ... hmmm seems like they are trying to break them not help them.. Please look into these situations something has to done about how it's being ran. Those residents are humans they should not be treated like thrown away garbage
This place is horrible horrible horrible. The staff violates every FBOP Privacy rule that they can. On off days Gibbs is at home watching the residents on a camera. Yes off duty several female staff yells at the male residents so unprofessional. While the case manager see you when she feels like it. She is predominately in her office with he door closed not working. They also receive 25% of every working residents check a week and feed them cold meal such a bologna or egg salad sandwich . Where is the money going ummmmmmmmmmm.

Disorganized staff and procedures.
Boring place. Staff is rude too. Visiting time is not very long. You can only bring your family supplies on Saturdays.
