Good cruising experience, but the whole boarding process can and should be improved. Boat came late so we had to wait 2 hours, then boarding was another hour. They have no system to check-in the people who are staying in cabins. It was another 30 mins wait on the boat to get the keys to our rooms.
One ferry from Coron to Manila was cancelled but the information was not clear and people lost a lot of time asking many times for (supposedly delayed) boat. Finally the trip with another ferry was quick and uneventful. Food was the same all time - meatballs with rice. Little taste. I would rather fly next time but I could still consider ferry line. Try to book many days in advance so you get better places for almost the same price. Note that bunks are not numbered (forget what your tickets says)!
Why would you have to pay a fee to get new tickets when the boat management told you to do that? They had notified all that a typhoon was present in the area and that we needed to book another travel date. Then they charged us a fee for cancelling our original ticket and getting a new one. No wonder the Philippines is a 3rd world country. They have no clue how to run a business!

Worst freight service of all. I had a package last month from puerto prinsesa and it was supposed to be claimed on the day it was indicated in their tracking online. But it took almost a week before i was able to claim my package because of so many alibis from office personnel. Worst, the package could not be claimed from their office but from the container van in the port area where you will have to pay arrastre services for your package that these people do not even carry nor touched. Another payment is with the PPA who did not return my change. To sum it up, sending anything to Coron via their port area is HELL and does not contribute to its economy because you will have to pass through a corrupt system and people like 2go, arrastre and PPA.
Staff are miserable and their is a surprise 250peso processing fee. Which makes sense as filling out a 2 minute long form and printing a piece of paper for a customer is very difficult and strenuous.
