I was waiting for a parcel that needed to be signed for. The driver did not ring the bell. He left the notice on my door to pick up. I was home so I know. I have now been on hold with Purolator for 41 minutes. Am on the phone with them now and the lady is being very helpful.

I always have to drive the length of Cornwall to pick up my packages which I have already paid to have delivered to Akwesasne. I am old and told to remain at home by my employer because of the covid pandemic. I have most of the risk factors for covid so I heed the government warning to stay at home. I am trying to do all my shopping online and have everything except groceries delivered to my door. But Purolator won't deliver to the reservation. They always mumble something about the hassle at the border as being the reason they won't deliver to the island. I get a whiff of racism from this attitude because other couriers deliver to my door and they do it with a smile. An honest company would cease snagging deliveries they can't or won't fulfill. Even much smaller couriers will send packages by proxy to fulfill deliveries to the Rez. The BBB rates them an A- and judging by all the negative reviews I can understand why. Whenever possible, I instruct vendors I deal with NOT TO USE PUROLATOR to ship items to Akwesasne.
Shipped a package and asked to make sure address location was in deliverable area. No flags when put into computer and no worries or so it seemed. Soon as I checked tracking morning after it says they have to pick up at same ship center I shipped it from. meaning it never left. I even had to run around and put money in bank since they wouldn't accept cash, legal tender and it didn't leave the establishment. So now I will have to go back and probly argue for a refund since they didn't do anything with it. Then ship it with the competition.
Refuses to deliver package to my workplace because the address (including the specific unit number) the sender used didn't include the company name. Even though the address is 100% correct, I have to argue with the sender to get them to update their shipment info to include the company name so the delivery driver, who has made deliveries to the exact same address for multiple other recipients, none of which have the company name on them, can complete the delivery. And none of the customer service agents seem to care at all.
