Sold my mother some plastics valves for face masks that are NOT accepted in mask making. They are only one way valves therefore allowing contaminated air to exit the mask. The point in wearing a mask is to not only protect yourself but others. Tried to contact them to get more information about the valve and when I explained that these valves shouldn't be sold since they are not recommended they hung up on us. Just giving anyone a heads up before you waste your money on something you cannot use. Shame on you, Giroux Sewing Centre. My mom is a very good client of yours and she spends a lot of money at your store. Response to reply: There were 2 calls concerning the valve the women we spoke to did in fact hang up and did not inform us the filter option. She also said that it was only a one way valve. So which is it? 2 way with a filter fabric or not? It was a simple question but no one seems to be able to answer. The second call was a friend of my moms who spoke to a man but was also told it was a one way valve and he did not mention the fabric filter. Still unsatisfied with the service and product.

Everytime I call the store I am left with such a positive feeling. The technicians are thorough and patient. The staff working in the store are helpful, friendly, and it makes it a real pleasure to shop here and support this locally owned business. Living in winchester I have the option of many different janome dealers all within about 45 minutes, and this one is my first choice!
