I bought a brand new Maxpect controller and power head, xf250. Controller died after 3 weeks and I had to pay 60 of shipping to send them back. 2 weeks later I get a ew\controller, which was clearly not new. Full of scratches, sent in my old box, not even new box. Below are the pictures of the ew\ controller. They answered that they removed the bracket from the one I sent, then opened the box of a new one, removed the bracket of the new one and but my old (3 weeks) bracket on the new controller then shipped it back in my old box. Make your own idea, but it is pretty clear to me. Gladly, Total Aquatics, located in Napanee was very helpful and accepted to assist me with the issue. Very bad distributor and unfortunately, only one for Maxpect products in Ontario. This is their answer: Your better from now on deal with total aquatic if he change you controller because you abuse him as you try to do with me unfortunately he will pay it from is own pocket....as i have fix your pump with brand new part in a fast manner and ship it express to you but you want more as in a power trip.....he may endure you behaviour but i will not any email from you will go direct in spam box. dont bother telling him what i say i CC total aquatic hopping he dont do the mistake of paying a controller from your bully attitude pay of it hard earn money, i have also CC my boss so case close for me....... They are all brand NEW from maxspect so far im repairing stuff for people everyday and NEVER EVER i got someone acting like you do NEVER.......honestly you win by a huge margin
