I received such a fun and informative tour of the museum. So much interesting information about Cornwall and area's history! Great for all ages - either a tour down memory lane for same, and fun new information for others! Certainly recommend taking a tour and making a donation.

Great musuem with a huge basement. Kids can dress up with clothing from that era. Staff was great and friendly. No washrooms and no wheelchair access. Opened only during the summer and free entry.

My wife and I were amazed how many very interesting exhibits we found there. The exterior belies how big it really is once you enter. The curator Don made our visit a real pleasure with his wealth of knowledge about the many the many aspects of the museum.

Excellent little museum. The historians there are very helpful and had a lot of resources that were useful to me. I was expecting a quick little trip through the exhibit and ended up with valuable information for the family history that I had traveled to Cornwall to study.

Don Smith went out of his way when a small group visted the museum in fall of 2017. We had called ahead, and mentioned whom we were researching, and Don had searched the records and provided us with the files and space with which to view them. A knowledgeable and well connected man, he also made our visit that much better by connecting us to a private cemetry owner who also provided us a tour.

Excellent museum, lots of development going on by the staff, and I highly recommend taking the guided tour with a staff member.

Went here on Sunday it was open. But it seams its not open to the public unless you have business there or know the pass word. Didn't get pass the front door. Our taxes support this? It use to be open to the public but now have half doors so you can't get by. As a museum I have to rate this as a fail. Rated as a city taxpayer, UEL Cornwall settler descendant & soldier.
