Built in the reign of King Canute c1020, this quaint Saxon church is well worth a visit. Wonderful mid-12th century paintings can be viewed on the walls inside and outside, a giant yew tree that dates back before the church was even built. There is no Parking at the front of the church but can be gained access at the rear along the B3035. Or do what I did and park near St Andrews Church (another church worth visiting) and walk to this church from there (approx less than 1/2 mile).
