I needed a video clip for my family jazz band. Taurus Video was one of the 3 prospective vendors whom I called to get a quote for this project. One of the vendors did not even respond to my inquiry, another one responded but disappeared, and only Val (the owner of the Taurus Video) got back to me and discussed in details the needs of the project. When we talked about the work, he showed real interest, demonstrated a lot of knowledge, and provided a reasonable price tag. So I have decided to go with Val. And I don't regret for a moment! Val is a highly-professional video expert in all domains - pre-production, filming, and post-production. He was attentive to all my needs, was very patient, polite, and creative. My project was very specific - a promotional video clip for my family band comprised of 3 of my kids and me. The project required knowledge in not only video but also music, composition, and a lot of patience working with young kids. I was lucky that Val has the background of playing in a band himself, so he clearly understood all the nuances of putting together a clip where a combination of a whole band view along with close-ups was required with the precision down to a single frame. Val was not a passive agent implementing my ideas. Instead, he provided a lot of great suggestions for the clip to make it look and feel like a professional product. The filming was done in a sound recording studio for two days. One day was recording the sound and filming the whole band, the second day was filming the close-ups. Then we met at my house to shot the interviews. And lastly, I came to Val's studio to review the draft and provide my inputs. The result was amazing. I would use Taurus Video services for my future projects and strongly recommend Val for anyone who wants both to have fun during the project and get a professionally delivered result.
