Noel's Grow Show

As I exited change room #1 with my son (20 feet from the building exit door), I forgot to put his mask back on. There happened to be an old man (an employee of some sort) disinfecting surfaces near the door. He rudely stopped us, and demanded I put a mask on my son. I apologized to him for forgetting, and mentioned I will remember next time, and asked if we could just quickly exit now since we were standing 3 yards from the door. He rudely told me again to put my son's mask on. All while he was standing less than 2 meters from us. I don't understand why this old senior couldn't have asked me nicely. People make mistakes. He himself violated covid19 protocol by coming within 2 meters from us. Give me a break grandpa. This is the second unfortunate incident I've had here. The first time was last year when I sent an email to management asking why one of their heaters was not working. I got no response. After hearing this is common practice at this arena, I emailed again after a couple weeks and I threatened to file formal complaints and go to the media. I then immediately got a response. Apparently they have some lame excuse for not repairing their heaters.

As a speed skating coach, I like the layout of the facility with all the dressing rooms along the side of the ice, the ice is in great condition. I had a great time coaching at the facility

Planet Ice is open and operating during very uncertain times and, in my opinion, they've been industry leader in health and safety protocols to support a return to play plan for local hockey players. Our young players are thrilled to be back on the ice and I've received nothing but positive reviews from parents - that they feel Planet Ice has the players' best interest in mind with all decisions made. The efforts of the building staff are greatly appreciated. Great work!

Confusing covid policies for changing (especially since policies at every rink are different). Some rinks want you to change in the parking lot. This one apparently ok to change in the change room? We had changed in the parking lot. I was allowed to assist my daughter to put on her skates next to the ice but then later told by another staff member I could not help her take them off in the same spot. Staff were very nice about informing us of something they would prefer us to do in a different area. Received an incredibly lengthy email prior to our session educating us about the rules. Hard to remember everything.
