I have to disagree with a number of the shoppers I've read above. Right during their Boxing day rush, I was pleasantly (and unexpectedly) surprised by a young woman handling the cancellation of a shipped laptop I had purchased, both with Gift cards, as well as on my MC. I was most satisfied with my prompt and very helpful service, as I had unexpectedly come into a laptop gift after I had placed an order to ship a laptop that was at another warehouse. Later, I phoned their quality assurance line and recounted my experience with them. I totally recommend this Future Shop.

Staff don't look happy and look distracted. They make you wait. They do not acknowledge you being there trying to spend your money. Spent over an hour in the store no one said hi. Display items look rough. At the cash Sherry who looked to be the cash supervisor, as she was helping me, picked up her personal phone call on her cell phone with yellow Puma skin making me wait as she was punching wrong numbers from my gift card, after 2 minutes or so she managed to figure out that the call was a wrong number and could focus enough to finish my one item purchase. Asked for manager, I was greeted by Brad in his early 20s, apologized and asked me to write my feed back on future shop customer care website! I don't think the market is forgiving enough these days. The only reason people my choose to buy in stores and not online is CUSTOMER SERVICE my friend. Disappointed!

As they say !## happens. As a result of a HD failure/replacement, Microsoft no longer recognized my Windows 7. After trying a few other methods, I was left with the task of resetting my laptop back to its initial status. After backing everything up, I put in the system recovery disks I had received when I purchased the computer from Future Shop. After sitting around for about an hour, I rebooted the computer for what I thought would be the last time, and got an "Unable to install Windows on this Hardware" message. I took the computer into Future Shop this morning and talked with Bert in the service department. I explained what had been going on and showed him the error message. Bert quickly identified the problem, and apologized for the recovery discs not doing there job. He then asked if I could leave the computer so that he could correct the problem, indicated he would have it done before he went home at 5:00PM. True to his word, the computer was ready shortly before 5:00PM. Windows 7 was reinstalled with all the updates, and Bert also put on virus protection to make sure I didn't have any issues when I got home. Great service guys. Thanks for saving my weekend. I purchased a 50" Samsung plasma tv from the Future shop approximately 2.5 years ago along with a 48 month warranty. Since then I've had It serviced three times in total. Two times for no power and the last time it was serviced because it had a line about 2 inches across the bottom of the screen. I was told by the future shop warranty Dept that it was cheaper for them to exchange the tv for a new one with similar features as it had already cost them more than the value of the tv's original value. I returned the tv to the future shop and placed it on the floor next to the customer service desk as instructed by the customer service representative. Once they had looked at my incident number, they asked me to find a similar tv from the show room floor. An Hour later I found a Panasonic tv with similar features and proceeded back to the customer service desk. The women behind the counter was very new and took forever to process the exchange. Half way through the paperwork another customer service representative advised the girl that the tv couldn't be exchanged as it now had a cracked on the screen. WOW !!!! ARE THEY FOR REAL! A CRACKED SCREEN!. I have never experienced such a dishonest company in all my travels. I asked to speak to the manage to no avail. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy from the future shop or there extended warranty as it's a SCAM. Now I'm left with a scrap tv with a cracked screen. KEITH

Went there yesterday Forrest from computer and electronics helped me. That was 10/10 costumer service. I bought a universal charger , he knew exactly what I needed and helped me get right to it. Friendly too. I'll be back

Horrible customer service when trying to call the store...... tried to get through to the cell department for 3 days......... nobody picks up. and was told 4 times that they would have someone call me back...... HORRIBLE service as now I am forced to drive to the store because apparently nobody cares about dealing with the public on their phone......they may as well remove the store number from the internet ad.

Phoned the cusotmer Service..No one is answering the phone. After the 4th attemt, finally somebody answered it but just hanged up without saying thank you. no phone ethics.
