This facility is the best of its kind in the Vancouver area. If you want to have a very pleasant, affordable floating spa session this is the place to go to. I visited them multiple times and I always have a good, very relaxing experience. Fantastic, helpful and very kind staff, they helped a lot with my specific questions upon reservation. The spa is huge! There are quite a few floating cabins for singles and couples as well. The cabins themselves are setup well, and they are always super clean whenever I visit. The rooms are well-equipped with good quality shampoo, conditioner & other toiletteries. They have a hidromassage bed which is just a perfect little extra prior to the floating session. Skip the Groupon deals, just phone them and ask for the Groupon price. Can not wait to visit again!

I've been interested in doing a couples float here for over a month now. When I initially contacted them they were amazing on the phone but didn't have any times available that worked with my schedule. I have now been trying to contact them for 2 weeks. I have made numerous phone calls left several messages and sent emails... I still have not heard back from anyone its very disappointing I finally heard back from cloud9 today. I had some questions to determine if the couples float I wanted to do would be possible. The woman that call me was very abrupt and rude. It sounded like she was reading a script and wouldn't listen to me or allow me to speak until she was finished her 9 minute speel. The mock star ceiling is what had me so interested in this location so I stopped myself from hanging up on her and allowed her to finish. The rooms available are not large enough for myself and my partner to comfortably enjoy a float together, they are roughly 84 ft. Once i informed her that I didnt feel the space would comfortable accommodate us she huffed and hung up on me. As much as I have wanted to float here I don't think I can bring myself to support a business with such a miserable staff when they are supposed to be a place to relax and de-stress.
I have been a regular floater ( 3x month) for almost 2 years. Because of COVID, the place I went to closed down. So I could go to another location of the same chain or try Cloud 9. I decided to give Cloud 9 a try. First float was good in the pod, the staff member was not at all what I was used to. She was unprofessional (used the “f” word in conversation and I wore my shoes and was not told where they could be stored), also said she didn’t know how to sign me up for a membership. Every other float place I know of you pay for a 90 minute float NOT 90 minutes in the room and only 75 minutes (timed)in the tank. Also you have to bring your own towels they say due to COVID, maybe for them to save laundry costs? There is a sign to limit shower to 5 minutes to conserve hot water for the environment and make sure there is enough for other customers. Also they ask for tips. I’m not against giving tips (and did) but have never been asked at other float spas. The worst thing though is that I asked how often they changed out the entire tank and replaced the salt and the other lady that was working there said NEVER! All of the other issues including the staff having questionable customer service skills could be overlooked but never replacing water and salt! Disgusting! Ive floated at 3 different places and this is the ONLY one that does not change the water and replace salt. I guess I was spoiled with the chain I was going to. Will switch.
Tried it for the first time last week. They have 1000 pounds of epsom salts in a bath tub and you can either get a couple’s session or go alone. Took us some time to get in the rhythm. Don’t even think of touching your face while inside or it will itch pretty bad.
The experience was pretty good, I think I’ve never felt so relaxed for the rest of the day in my life. The service was not that great. The lady was not that welcoming until we were about the leave at the end.
