We had hired another moving company but they were a no show. I then called ABC New Move the same day and they were able to arrange a moving date for us the next business day. Furniture was treated with care in an utmost professional way! Movers were skilled and respectful. I've had an excellent experience with this team. I'd definitely recommend them.

I would suggest that one and all should avoid using ABC New Move. They badly soiled the carpets on the stairwell of our old house and gauged the walls as they moved our furniture. About ¾ of our furniture was damaged by the movers and although it was clean before being handled by the movers, all of it was delivered to us in an extremely dirty state. ABC New Move also damaged the new oak floors and the walls of our new home, and they left boxes clearly labelled in random places in the new home so that there was little organization to the stacks of boxes. A box of paint marked with arrows and “This Side Up” all around the box was left lying on its side to leak paint on our basement floor. The piece de resistance was that our cell phone disappeared soon after the movers arrived. A call was received and then the phone was placed on a counter and was never to be seen again – we enquired with some of the workers but they claimed that they had not seen it. In the chaos, we thought that one of the movers may have put it into an open box. However, it never turned up and all the boxes have been opened. In retrospect, we should have stopped the move to find the phone but we did not expect it to be taken. The owner, John, seemed overwhelmed by the move and he became belligerent and defensive when the soiled carpets were pointed out. At that point in the move, everything suddenly became very heavy and he regularly commented that this was a big move. The next day, the owner began demanding more money despite all this grief having already cost us 2000. Definitely, the damage that ABC New Move inflicted was far beyond the fee that they were paid.
