2nd time ordered first time got Sunday roast got packet sliced beef with gravy so gave to my dog. Today ordered steak pie asked for roast potatoes which that as was paying 9.50 and was Sunday roast day refused and said would get hand cut chips instead was given frozen chips. Would get if busy but were only open 20 mins poor :(

Just back from a first but certainly not last visit! Services was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. Lots of choices for vegetarians too, which I am. My partner got a steak pie and loved it, I got the risotto which was tasty. The Oreo cheesecake was a great dessert and big enough to share. We will definitely be back!
Wow the Greatest kept secret in East kilbride. Chef is by far in the top 3 chefs with whom I have had the luxury of eaten his food. A true artist of culinary plethora of delights. Don't imagine if you are at the Ritz in London you would get better . I know you wouldn't. Have a great friend who is a chef In London headhunter nearly every month and he would be chuffed to be in the Sam kitchen ....and no that's the chefs name not a spelling mistake in credible chef.... I always go here now
Visited for lunch, having pre booked on line. Although situated in a slightly ‘industrial’ environment ( beside Lidl and retail park) the restaurant is light and airy, modernly and well decorated, and spacious enough to allow good social distancing. Layout has one way system and there is sanitiser and signposted procedures. Serving staff wear masks (although receptionist consistently wore hers ‘half-mast‘ which gives the wrong message!) Food was slightly slow in coming but worth the wait. Serving staff were friendly and helpful. Kitchen is on view discreetly, which adds atmosphere and comfort. A good experience for our first venture out after lockdown.
This was our second time in the restaurant. First time was a disaster, food not cooked property etc. Did not put a review up since everyone can have a bad day and the manager dealt with the issues professionally. Got invited for a second visit by friends and was looking forward to the experience, especially when this is local and we would like to use this regularly. Prices are not good, specially when the food does not reflect the price range. Long wait for food and drinks, staff is friendly and trying their best but something is missing in this place. Food was very dry and tasteless, burger and katsu curry. 12 for a burger and I have had more exciting burgers in pubs for half the price. Don't mind the price but the food needs to reflect the price. At the end of the night tables were empty and plenty of waiters walking around but still a lot of waiting for dessert/drinks. Don't usually write reviews but we are just so disappointed with Coppertrees and we want to use the restaurant in the future, but it is better value for money to pay the taxi and go elsewhere.
