A wonderful find, in an ideal world I wouldn’t write this review as I’d like to keep this little treasure for myself! A real family run pub that’s part of the community but everyone is so welcoming to others (as in the juke box doesn’t stop & everybody stare at you when you walk in) Sarah, her Mother & Hubby gave us some local info and history we’d never had known about, even a waterfall used in the Batman film.

We had a very enjoyable evening at this pub during our stay in the brecon beacons. The mother and daughter duo unning the show\ are extremely attentive and friendly. We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, with our dog and were well attended to throughout the evening. The locals drinking at the bar were equally very friendly. The food and drink is very well priced and great quantity for value. We were served fresh rainbow trout caught that day which was delicious!!
Lovely place! Cosy, with an open fire and the most friendly hostesses, Sarah and her mum, who let us in even if the pub wasn't opened yet. The local ale we tried and lunch food was yummy and very affordable. I had the best homemade tiramisu, which is exactly like my Italian mum would make it. Definitely recommend it!
Some fabulous dishes made. very impressive and a great comfortable interior.
