This review is long overdue. We stopped by Hard Eight after arrival for an early dinner. This place is perfect, as they have a large outdoor space for dine-in. You come through, pick your meats and how many pounds. Then go inside and pick your sides, sauces, and beverages. There are signs for mask wear and hand sanitizer placed. When we went, folks were wearing their masks correctly and spaced apart. Food, overall, was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed everything.

We had our usual the chopped brisket sandwich and rack of ribs. They were delicious as usual. We also tried their sausage recently and it was very good. Their loaded baked potato is so good and when it is ordered to go all the condiments come on the side. The buttered corn is also very good but the last few times they’ve been a little old and dry. The Mac and cheese is absolutely delicious and super cheesy.
We've eaten here numerous times and every time they have been consistently good. I had the 16oz ribeye today for the first time. It was good. The sauteed onions though! They were excellent. That should be on the menu by itself. Anyway, the star rating is only about the price. Even that is not too bad I guess. I keep going back.
Lively atmosphere and solid bbq. The line by the outdoor smoker is awesome so you can pick and choose what you want right as it comes off the grill. Lots of options, I had the brisket sandwich which was basically a plate of brisket and a bun on the side, as it should be. Homemade sauce was solid, and there’s a spicy option I didn’t try. Friendly bartenders as well.
The food and service at both Hard Eight locations is so good that it will make you see Jesus! Best BBQ and hospitality around! Thank you for never disappointing me...
