So delivered here back in July of 2019, and it was great. I also delivered here this last weekend, and Stephanie Walz, and Jill (I didn't get her last name) were absolutely phenomenal!!! 10/10 would deliver all of my children here and recommend. Honestly every nurse I've had has been fantastic. If you want a magical delivery & labor, come here! Thanks again ladies!!

We had a pretty good experience in the Mother Baby Center. I went in with consistent contractions at 5cm dilated at 4:30am and delivered without pain medication by 11:40am. The nurses I had for delivery were fantastic asking me what I would like each step of the way and respecting my wish for only nitrous oxide during labor without pushing anything else on me. My only complaint during that time is a nurse making the comment “I can’t believe you’re doing this without an epidural” when I’m crowning..... I could tell this hospital wasn’t used to non-medicated births. Once we got into the postpartum suites we had some great nurses during the day however day two felt like a constant parade of people coming in and out. I really wish the lactation consultant would have stopped by the day I gave birth because by day two it felt like I hadn’t gotten the support I needed and with my husband and I being first time parents and no one else was allowed to be there it was not ideal to start breastfeeding this way. Overall I had the labor and birth I wanted and the nurses and doctors were very supportive.

The Mother Baby Center is the most accommodating place I could imagine for birth. It's like a 4 star hotel suite. Note for soon-to-be dads: if your going to be accompanying your wife during the birth, bring a couple pillows and small mattress pad or something... Because that small couch will murder your back. Pull out the bottom 2 CLICKS, the single click will work, but it doesn't bring down the middle bar. Don't be fooled, pull harder, wait for the 2nd click. It makes things a lot better.

The nurse was so unbelievably rude and impatient. The nurse even told me while I was crying from labor pain that “I had a low pain tolerance and that she gave birth naturally to all of her children and that I shouldn’t have been in the amount of pain I was in.” Whoever that lady was needs to find a new job. She was impatient, insensitive and unkind. Who in their right mind says that to a woman in the middle of child birth? That my pain isn’t real? That I’m just being a baby? Cool . Good for you lady. I have spent the past year of my life with my significant other doubting when I’m actually in pain because “the nurse said you have a low pain tolerance” I am due to deliver baby number 2 in 2 months and I plan on taking my delivery elsewhere. I’ll go spend the 30,000-50,000 at maple grove hospital.

I had my first baby here this fall. It was a wonderful experience, the rooms were roomy and very clean. The bathroom was huge and awesome. My labor nurses and postpartum nurses were absolutely wonderful. So sweet and helpful. You can tell they truly love their job. They truly made it a wonderful experience and I will be returning here for our future babies.
