Actually this was a fantastic garden centre with an even better restaurant! Had a sandwich and chips which were devine! Staff were friendly and there were some beautiful things I wanted to buy, was also a great selection of quality ants at really reasonable prices. Shall definitely be back! In my humble opinion I preferred it to Pole hlll and Ruxley!

A friendly and enjoyable garden centre with a delightful cafe called Arthur's. We went here to enjoy a local crafts event which was superb. The garden centre itself has plenty of space and lots to see. There is a decent amount of free parking outside. In the cafe, there is a great menu with lots to choose from. The prices are typical for a garden centre and for the amount paid you get some nicely prepared fresh food. Highchairs are available for kids and there is outdoor seating area which is always nice. Having been to a few garden centres in the area, this one stands out for having the most to offer without the atmosphere being too chaotic.

I have been a customer at Coolings for many years. Back In the time when tea and cake was served in the bungalow. My garden is full of Coolings’s plants, trellises, slate, rocks, pots ... Since the first lockdown I have shopped on-line. Compost, seeds, plants and tomorite etc. Fantastic service, easy to navigate, prompt, and I’ve got early bird offers. Faultless. Thank you. I like Coolings. A good plants person place. Good quality plants, maybe a little more expensive than Polhill for example, but quality is really good. Vast range of plants, I aspire to get one of their beautiful acers! Staff all seem to know their stuff. All very accessible, large car park with good blue badge parking. Nice cafe, always found the food good. Fairly even hard pathways throughout. Can get really busy.

We went to the Farmers' market. Got some delicious vegetarian food, and super fresh vegetables, but the meat lady was not there and there were very few stalls. They will be open again on the 19th December. Let's hope for more stalls!
