My partner and I were really excited to take this class as it has such great reviews but ultimately felt as though the experience was not worth the value. Everything was quite disorganized, the visit to the market took 1.5 hours in which we were not involved & ended up waiting on the curb outside for 30 minutes the instructor to finish, we then had trouble getting into the building, having to find someone random from the street to let us in and when we got in nothing was set up for us. If anything, we were bummed to not be involved in the entire process a bit more - we only really made the dough and the pasta shapes, but did not help in making the filling/pasta sauce or actually cooking. In the end, we left at 5.00, 1 hour & 30 minutes after it was supposed to end which was hard as we only had 2 days in rome... Its a shame and I do feel bad writing this as the guy that taught the class was really nice & knowledgeable, and he supplied a nice appetizer/wine for the class, but I have to be honest as our experience was not reflective of the past reviews posted on here.

Booked this class last minute with a friend. Marco provided a wonderful experience; taking us to a local market and making it incredibly easy for novices like myself and making pasta so easily! His enthusiasm and easy going nature made the time go by so quickly that we ended up finishing late from the great conversations we shared. Would recommend this class to anyone looking to cook some authentic Roman food with a local expert!

Amazing cooking class and you get to eat the food afterwards. A visit to the market with a great guide and chef and then made many different types of pasta. Really awesome!!

I'd been to Rome before so was looking for something new and different to do. A pasta cooking class seemed like a good choice and I couldn't have chosen a better one. The whole experience was one I would definitely recommend, from the trip to the market to the delicious pastas we made, Marco definitely made my day extra special! Trying out the recipes at home tomorrow! Xxx

Marco and his cooking experience was the best thing that Rome could offer us. Better than Vatican city, better than the coliseum and better than al the other food we ate. Marco was at the centre of this as an authentic Italian chef with a passion for food the way mama makes it. Would recommend this to anyone visiting rome. The wine was delicious and there was more than enough food to go around.
