My Name is Dwight Jessie and I recently moved here from Austin, Texas. I had a issue with my vehicle. Mr. Eric Washington and Ms. Nicole O'Brien helped me tremendously. My opinion, they went Above and Beyond the call of duty. They just didn't tell what I needed to know, the literally took the time to make the calls for me. I personally have experienced this type of customers service in my life. I left their office feeling confident, informed, and truly inspired as well as blessed. I thank them so much with the deepest GRATITUDE.

I'm amazed to find out that property tax went up 70% from 2019 to 2020. Appeal was denied...!!! I have not seen that increase in any other county and property value did not go up that much....just can't get it!

As of November 20th, the October 22nd property tax payment made by mortgage servicer still has not been applied to my account. Rockdale Tax Office told me they are backlogged and behind on their workload. This is holding up my ability to refinance my home.
I renewed tags for both my vehicles. There was a long line but a gentleman came out to answer any questions and help those in line while we waited. The wait was not long considering I was at the end of the line near the entrance. I was taken care of expeditiously once I was called to the next available customer service clerk. This is my second year renewing tags in Rockdale county and both times has been a pleasant experience. The other time was dealing with the property tax on the home I'm renting. The clerk answered all my questions and was very helpful. If we as citizens go in there with a positive attitude we will get more accomplished with the clerks that deal with hundreds of us daily...and sometimes we as citizens can be just downright rude. Be unto others as you would want them to be to you. Thank you Rockdale Tax Office staff for all you do!!!
