Great place for Pasta, fast and friendly service. I tried the Carbonara and it was enough for 2 meals! The chicken in the dish was melt in your mouth and the sauce was flavorful and not too salty. It came with a huge salad that was very fresh. I recommend this place and look forward to be brave enough to try the Peppers with Angle Hair Pasta next time! The pizza was affordable and tasty, I would say the pasta is their specialty with pizza as a side. The pizza crust is typical crust and really didn't stand out as a true pizzeria with it's own taste and texture.

Gene and his food are the best! I've known many people in my life, and this guy Gene is always at his Contessa's Italian Pizzeria preparing food for his loyal customers and taking great care of his employees' too! If you're looking for some of the finest Italian food around, plus a very extensive Italian menu to choose from? Then you just found it all at Contessa's Italian Pizzeria. And if you do not try this food. Then you’re the only one missing out on some of the best Italian food in Canton Ohio! Period. The owner (Gene) is Italian too. If you're into more the subs and wraps menu selection, well Gene has that too! Enjoy.
Got my order for pick up out quickly on a busy Friday evening. The stuffed peppers were delicious and had a nice heat level to them. Pizza was good too. Cute picnic table and small dining room for dining in. Will definitely go back soon.
I miss this place SOOO much. If you're local go visit and if they have lasagna eat a slice for me! You won't regret it! I moved away a few years ago and have been searching for anyone who can even come CLOSE, but haven't found it.
