Great spot for a gluten-free dinner date. Right now they're using their parking lot as extra seating. Ordered the clam chowder sampler. All the chowders are made without flours or thickeners would they're gluten-free. Very good flavor, fun to try the different types. This bread is insanely good. I had to ask my server if the bread was really gluten-free because it was so good. Partner ordered the New England Boiled Dinner. Only complaint was the size of this entree is pretty dinky.

COVID REVIEW: Brought my mom to Connie and Ted's because I saw it recommended in the LosAngeles subreddit. I pre-booked ahead of time so we are guaranteed a seat and it was smooth and easy. When we got there, we were the first in line at 5pm and the host welcomed us and informed us that we were the first ones to experience their outdoor dining setup (seen in my picture). He was very warm and sociable and felt comfortable. They even had space heaters evenly distributed so even though we were outdoors, it still felt warm. We ordered a bunch of food and the one that stood out was the Lobster Rolls (hot). It was tasty and the side it came with could either be fries or coleslaw. We picked fries since the crab cake already came with the coleslaw. The potato used in the fries were fresh and tasty. It was perfect with the Lobster rolls. Other than that, the oysters they served (we got the half dozen) were tasty and the sauce it came with was just perfect. All-in-all, we enjoyed the food we ordered and it was worth the price for my mom's 60th birthday. The only downsides I experienced (which are both minor) was that our server sometimes took some time to help us and that the food serving was a little bit on the small side. Regardless, the food is worth the price and I'll probably come back here for the seafood.

First time. Ordered on telephone for curbside pickup. The gentleman on the phone was very helpful. Ordered fried clams and fish and chips. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Also, it was very well packaged and wrapped to stay warm and not fall over in the car. We will be back, job well done.

Great COVID outdoor setup. Groups are far enough away from each other to make guests wonder if every other restaurant is truly doing it right or what. Fresh fish doesn't need a heavy fry--flavorful and stands quite strong w herbs and garlic. I believe we did the sea bass and halibut, both were lovely in their simplicity. Chocolate cake is quite rich and delicious (split the dish for two) Can't wait to return!

Like some other people say, the food tends to be a bit pricier considering the portions but it's pretty well made. They have a sampler for the three clam chowders, which is nice to try each one. Their seafood is really fresh and they have a lot of daily specials rotating based on what's good in the market. The lobster roll is really good even though it's expensive and I also highly recommend the Mac n Cheese. Might be my favorite Mac I've had so far in LA. Lot of people like the fries here. Peach cobbler is amazing, caramel sauce on it was so good. Also got the Teddy Appleseed drink and really like that too.
