Theses gardens are worth seeing, use to have a band play in the bandstand some summer evenings, can't go in the greenhouse anymore. theres a pill box in the garden, there is good views from the garden, can see a house on the edge of the cliff, the road as been moved away from the cliff, garden as a clock tower, in the nintys didn't see a lot of people in the garden but went there in October 2019 and there was hundreds in there, Sidmouth is very busy now since people have computers and now know Sidmouth is there

Really nice walk in the gardens and along the coast
Lovely gardens and a great view over Lyme Bay.
Lovely and peaceful. Superb views over Sidmouth or Jacobs ladder beach. Clocktower cafe/restaurant is really nice.
Lovely gardens that are beautifully maintained. The views are amazing. There's plenty of places to sit and relax and there's different parts of the gardens including a sunken garden, greenhouse with lots of cacti, lovely grassy area as well as gorgeous beds of flowers, trees and shrubs. There are decent public toilets here too, and Clock Tower cafe, which is situated within the gardens, is worth a visit as well.
