Just had fish chips and mushy peas. Hubby had fish. Was going to share peas and chips but chips were too well done like cardboard. Woman asked if I'd like my peas on top of my fish, I replied yes please. But when I opened my box peas was between chips n fish. On the whole. Fish was nice but I would recommend avoid chips. I should of taken them back. Expensive lunch 10.40 for 2 fish as we threw rest away. Went to Doncaster other week to Whitby chip shop opposite racecourse. 12.75 but fish chips and mushy peas were absolutely amazing well worth a visit. Go there next time instead

Brilliant fish and chips. I was even able to have a gluten free fish made with a huge piece of fresh cod, the batter was delicious and really crispy. A real treat for me.

Good food and very pleasant, apart from the miserable owner /manageress. The fish and chips were lovely and the price was very good. The whole place is comfortable and very clean. A good choice on the menu for non fish lovers. Will go again.
