I was invited to this place from friends while on vacation up in Barry's Bay. From pricing, to service, to the food this place was an absolute blast and was one of the most unique experiences I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. If this is your first time there, on the face of it, this restaurant will not make sense. You can park anywhere, you'll see a giant teepee, a butterfly mural and if you're confused, that's okay, everything gets better. Imagine Jeff Spicoli decided to open a beach bar in northern Ontario, except he only had 1000 and a dream. With that dream he said to himself, "We don't need plates, we don't even need metal cutlery, so long as we have great food, cheap drinks and great tunes, whats the difference man?" I was served some of the best tacos I've ever had, and the portions were fairly big. The beer was really inexpensive (I really liked the Tyskie in the large bottle) and if you order a ceaser understand you are about to get a massive stick of meat and pickles and more (almost a meal!) with it. To top it all off the servers were super friendly and just awesome. Lastly, try the deep fried cheese sticks, but beware these are not deep fried cheese strings, this is literally a massive block of deep fried cheese and it is glorious. 10/10 can't wait to go back.

Top of my list! I was there on a sunny afternoon. Awesome music playing, the smoker was going (the smell was beautiful). The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was flawless. I can't say enough good things about this unique little gem of a spot.
Went for dinner- such an amazing vibe! The patio was puppy friendly, so our little frenchie joined us! I can't stress enough- the food was AWESOME! Though I will warn you- learn from my mistakes and share the mozzarella sticks! They tell you they're massive- they're not joking!! But oh, so good! Really appreciated the thought the staff put into social distancing. The tables were really well spaced. Our server was fantastic & was wearing a face mask the whole time. Can't wait to go back & try everything on the menu! Thanks Bent Anchor team!

Great atmosphere. Delicious food. I had the burger and fries, my mother enjoyed her fish and chips. They were very patient with her. She’s hard of hearing. My dad left his umbrella and the owner ran it to us in the parking lot as we were leaving. So nice! We’ll be back for sure!
Staff was friendly & atmosphere is THE best. The food was pretty good especially if you're drunk but I do have to be completely honest the prices are a bit crazy but it's worth it for a few drinks & the fun & memories you make. Love their merch
Had the smoked half chicken dinner. Chicken was good but I recommend ordering the bbq sauce on the side as they dump it all over the chicken and fries. My wife had the half pound buffalo wings. It would not be enough food for me and would end up costing 16 for a pound with celery sticks on the side. They should have a full pound option for more along the lines of 12. Anyways, they were the smallest wings I’ve ever seen and rock hard. She only ate one. I tried them and they were terrible. Service was decent but would have been nice to not have to wait a few minutes to get cutlery after the food was on the table. The evening was chilly and the food cools down quick. Cool location with a variety of seating types. There’s also a sandy beach to swim at and you can pull up on your boat. Music was pumping loud but geared towards the 55 crowd.
So good fries are amazing this place has amazing ambience such a good vibe even drive up to the dock with your boat. Everything we ordered was so good very friendly staff!! I can't wait to go again
