What a treasure! Excellent collection of shipboard guns on the grounds. I stumbled upon this place while walking my dog along the trail on the Chattahoochee River. This retired Sailor sure enjoyed a tour of this museum.

Great museum for all ages. Informational exhibits & recreations that you can walk through to get a idea what life would have been like.

Great walk! Great views! From what I have been able to gather. The history that was burned down..... Well I guess I will have to learn about them by searching and reading. From talking to a few of the friendly locals there seems to be some amazing fishing here!

I went to Columbus for business and stopped by the Naval Museum. It was nice but I only had one hour to look. I couldn't have spent three hours to look and read all of the displays. There is a hull of an ironclad ship on disney also.
