Had both dinner and breakfast at this restaurant while staying in the hotel and all in all really good. For dinner the Gnocchi with Chorizo was the star of the show, highly recommend! The desserts were also really good. Unfortunately the mains were a bit if a let down in terms of flavour. Breakfast in the morning was again really good, full breakfast was a tasty big portion with views on to Loch Lomond.

A wedding anniversary luncheon for our ‘bubble’ that was so enjoyable. The weather was poor but the views were still attractive and the internal layout and presentation of the restaurant was excellent. A menu to cover most tastes, quality smoked salmon to start, a perfectly cooked ‘medium rare’ steak and comforting warm brownie to follow set the tone for the whole day. The staff were bright, charming and attentive. Well done everyone. Glad to have returned after a 6 year break.
The setting of this restaurant is beautiful....overlooking Loch Lomand, I doubt the view can be bettered of the Loch. The food was exceptional, though the menu was restricted due to covid19. The service was great and the place has a nice atmosphere. The reason for giving it 4stars is the fact the restaurant is part of a hotel, not a problem with that.... apart from the fact that we looking for Colquhoun's Restaurant not a hotel (confusing) Also we booked online, they take all your info but don't email or text any confirmation, so I found myself having to phone the restaurant to check our booking!
Amazing food and very attentive staff!!! Would highly recommend this if you're in the area. I would definitely return.
Great Location, reasonable prices , value for money. Visited during Covid so felt a bit sterile inside however views outside on the Loch awesome.
