The Medina family

I recently moved to the springs area and attended this church through a recommendation. They made me feel extremely welcomed from day one. Since attending this church I believe my relationship with God has grown substantially as well as my love for other's. I highly recommend this place come visit and see where God leads you.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. We thought we would visit other churches, but we loved this one so much we decided to stay. If you are looking for a church with a family atmosphere, this is it. Our pastor preaches a solid word. We are involved in our community. We have awesome worship, and you will feel the love.

It would be nice if the pastor's wife would chat with the new people too....even if she \perceived\ something was different about the new person. Even went to the Sunday morning prayer gathering (that starts before church begins) where she came in. Even though we were new faces in the crowd, she still didn't come over to chat to make us feel welcome - instead, just walked right on past us. There's a lot of churches in Colorado Springs. Surely, there will be one where the pastor and the spouse both agree to love on all the new people visiting their church.

I had attended Springs Journey for many, many years, raising my children in this church. Then six years ago I moved out of state and, in that six years, I never found a church that could even closely compare to Springs Journey. I was so homesick for my church family and the God-led services that Springs Journey has. So when I moved back to Colorado Springs this past June, I returned to the church...I returned home. The pastor and his wife are genuine people. They are both caring, compassionate, loyal servants and care very deeply for every one of their sheep. If you are looking for a church to call home, and friends to call family, and a community that loves Jesus, this may be what you are looking for. Join us for a service and see!
