The cuisine here is always exceptional. Due to small kitchen size and historically lacksadasical waitstaff, you should expect to spend at least an hour and a half if you are planning on a full meal. Great atmosphere with one of the most genuine owners. She is a joy to speak with and certainly authentic. The meatloaf is second to none, and dessert crepes with sweet cream are truly something to covet. All the food here delicious with lighter fares of top tier quality and preparation. The comfort dishes here will comfort even the most uncomfortable of pallets. Again the only issue here is the waitstaff. It appears they recently hired a new server who seems slightly more service-oriented so hopefully a new leaf has been turned. If you have some time it is certainly worth a shot, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food and great service. Would recommend for anyone to try out. Waiter gave great recommendations and also made some pretty great bloody Mary’s and screwdrivers
First time trying this place and what can I say but this food was pretty great and very well season. I can honestly say, I’ve tried several restaurants in town and the food can’t compare to what they make here from the dishes to the drinks. I will recommend checking this place if you’re ever in town.

Loved the pancakes and hubby loved French Toast. The great service and cute authentic feel to the restaurant was an additional delight. Minutes from Garden of the Gods where we enjoyed breakfast to go. Definitely will come back.
