This is nearest post office to my office. So I had no other place convenient. I had some printed matters to post. This has done several times by my. I have covered printed material with covering leaf & address written on it. Stapled it to hold. The person on stamp counter today (22.03.2021), started complaining I had stapled it on top, so he couldn't stamp print on it. However, he has printed one. Stopped quarrel & print. He stopped in the middle and start a quarrel again saying "stamp in outer cover & date is on printed paper. He said he will loose his job if someone see this, I don't know how ? For LKR 12/- letter. He then given me 6 stamp if LKR 12/- and asked me to paste it. It make me hot tempered but decided to be silent. I could remember the officer who worked there one year ago. He was so courteous. I carried piece of paper as I needed a bill to submit for claim from my Association. He neglected to write and ask me to write. He said it is illigal. The queue is piling up. With earlier person also he spent unusual time. I couldn't waste other's time. I came out without a bill. He said stamps are money. So he couldn't make a bill. PATHETIC !!!. The postal department I know is so friendly.
Today I went to send register letter from this place. The person who was in-front of the door is very friendly and helpful. He is checking temperature of the people and guiding. I saw he helped some old people very well. Really appreciate his work. But inside of this place is poorly maintained and very unclean. People working very slow and we have to wait long for get work done.

Poor service. They are so arrogant. I went to collect my stuffs They didn't give. Not even worth for one star. No friendly service
Terrible place. Most staff are morose and lazy. When I visited the place to check my mail (seems no deliveries for the last couple of weeks or months), they are too lazy to check. Says come another day, next week etc. The premises are dirty, unclean and not even swept. The POSTMASTER should seriously make an effort immediately to improve this place and it's services to the public.
Once I was there and quick mailing service could be experienced. Nothing special about staff. It seems not crowded always.
