Bill was great from the start. He informed me of the rebate which covered about 90% of the insulation. Told me who to call for the energy audit in order to get the rebate. Installation was smooth. He created a cat walk so I could access my ac unit and also used different insulation material that allowed me to keep an area for storage. Very neat/clean how he worked. Highly recommend.
This is our first winter in our CT house after living in NH for the past 21 years. We were shocked to find the water pipes frozen on the first cold, below 20 degree, day. With investigation we found air intrusion through a pipe left inside a wall from a long ago renovation. We called the man who did our insulation on our own renovation who wanted us to have someone rip out our new cabinets and walls so he could insulate. That would have been heartbreaking. We knew Bill Brown at Eco Energy Guard had a thermal scanner. Bill arrived right away and within a half hour had identified the situation and had a solution that would not involve destroying our room. He arrived with his right hand man a day or two later and fixed our problem. It's very nice to be able to wake up in the morning and not expect frozen pipes. Not only is Bill very nice and friendly but he was very neat and we were happy to have no clean up. We have nothing but good things to say about Eco Energy Guard and would not hesitate to recommend EEG to our friends.
Our attic was mess, and EEG put it in place! Not only for insulation but also discovering and fixing an HVAC duct that was disconnected from it's vent. They kept us informed every step of the way. EEG couldn't see the light fixtures due to the previous horrendous \work\ done before we bought the house, and stepped on them which created some some ceiling plaster issues. Bill from EEG went back to HQ (an hour trip) and get plaster and repair tools to fix the damage. Amazing. Highly recommended!! If there were six stars, they would get them!
Our experience was incredible. Bill walked us through the rebate process, recommended an energy auditor that was paid for through energizect.com, and then was able to add almost 13 inches of insulation to our attic for the cost of the rebate. We can tell a huge difference already. Highly recommend
