My dad and I recently finished the Camino tour with Collett's. This is my second tour with Collett's (previously did a wonderful Dolomites tour). The tour was excellent, from start to finish. The logistics, from arrival transport, luggage transport, and taxi pick-up, was efficient and well-organized. Javier, the on-the-ground guide, provided wonderful walking cards and a very thorough briefing to get us started on our self-guided walking tour. The accommodations were all unique and very nice. They were local places that we would have not been able to find ourselves! The provided lunches were good and more than sufficient. The provided dinners (3 in all) were also good, although we much preferred to go out and find our own bars and pintxos! The walking itself was beautiful and hilly. Most of the walking is along the coast and is stunning. The alternative paths provided a nice amount of challenge and were absolutely worth it for the views.

My wife and I have been on 3 Colletts holidays in the Dolomites. Suitable for anyone for any age. I am 77 and can still find walks that are easy or hard depending on your ability. There are also adrenaline fulled walks and (very safe) climbs for the more adventurous. The staff and accommodation is excellent. The food and camaraderie at the evening meals is excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE HOLIDAYS.

Great holiday in a beautiful place, went for the spring flowers and wasn’t disappointed! Staff all friendly and accommodating. Accommodation good. Loved the way you could choose dates of arrival and departure to suit us, also met some like minded fellow travellers every evening for shared dinner at “office Hour” great fun. Good to have choices of graded walks to suit ability and preference. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

We did the peaks of the Pyrenees in July with Collette's and had a fantastic walking holiday. It's the first time we've used them but certainly won't be the last everything was handled in a professional and friendly manner. From pick up at the airport to drop off we were transported too and from the walks by considerate staff who took the trouble to get to know everyone as they accompanied us on the road and trails making everyone feel valued. The walks in the mountains were stunning and the paths we took to the peaks often meant we were only sharing with our group and the vultures and marmots.Each evening office hour gave us chance to unwind and learn about the challenges of the coming day. Exceptional service was the hall mark of this friendly family hotel, meals were excellent all served with a smile and a little help and encouragement with practising our Spanish. I've traveled with lots of different companies to walk the mountains and can honestly say Collette's gave us an unforgettable experience, we will use them again.

We have been on holiday with Collett's about a dozen times both skiing and walking, which just about says it all! The prices are reasonable and there is a lot of flexibility in departure/arrival arrangements. It's holiday not a selling opportunity for in resort 'extras'. The experience has been the same and consistently excellent over 15 years, if it ain't broke don't fix it. The unique thing about Collett's is the quality of the in resort hosts, whatever their age (and there are lots of ages!) they are engaging, inspirational and committed to both providing a great service and the mountains-but not usually in that order! Finally the back office is personalised and particularly helpful.

We have been having regular holidays with Collett’s since 2002 and it is a holiday which always guarantees to deliver a great time. The standard of the accommodation is always excellent and the walks are amazing. Even if you do not do the organised walks the staff will take time to identify one for you through their comprehensive selection built up over many years. It is always great meeting the young teams in the resorts who are always great fun. Due to our regular visits we often see the same team members as well as regular guests. Not once over our 19 trips have we ever heard any of the staff mutter any vague complaint about the company. Collett’s take as much pride in their staff as well as ensuring guests have a superb holiday.

I’ve been on a couple ski holidays with Collett’s. The food, drink and accommodation were excellent quality and great value compared to other chalet holidays I’ve been on. The staff were friendlier, more knowledgable and did not give you the hard sell on excursions that larger tour operators will.
