Greetings, As required by my company, I was booked to attend a 4 day advance firefighting course at the TEEX training facility. Little did I know, I would be showered with an excellent teaching experience and outstanding hands on scenarios. The proctors were very knowledgeable and made the entire experience enjoyable. If you'd like to experience a high level of training that will benefit and enhance your overall skills in firefighting, this is the place to be.

Having been associated with TEEX for years, I really appreciate the expertise they bring to our department. Lots of great instructors for all kinds of classes. Getting to go to Brayton Fire Field is just icing on the cake.
I just attended one of their public burn days and it was AWESOME. You get to watch as firefighters in training fight real fires on simulated obstacles. They have a huge field of 50 different simulations; car explosions, warehouse fires, oil rig gas leaks, and so many more. Each fire is different so the simulations allow firefighters to train on real fires in a controlled atmosphere. It's so safe that public burn nights have become a popular family event. You can stand in close proximity of the action and actually feel the heat of the flames! It's an incredible experience!
I've been attending Municipal Fire School here since 1999 and teaching since 2008. There is no better fire service training facility. TEEX is constantly expanding and improving the field. A must for anyone in the fire service.
