I am writing this review to create awareness for those who have booked at this venue and are struggling to get their money back as their function has been affected by the coronavirus outbreak. You can rightfully get your money back and the process is simple. Regardless of what the owners (Jag or Rupy) say. They have absolutely no right to hold on to your money, if your function has been impacted due to the pandemic. Due to the pandemic I had lost my job therefore I had no choice but to cancel the booking for the venue for my pre-wedding party. As per the government guidelines, no venue or vendor has the right to hold on to your deposit or any payments you have made to them (unless they have proof of expenses towards your event). Although I explained this to the venue owner, it wasn't until I took legal action and filed a Small Claims court action against them, that they then finally decided to do the right thing and give me my money back. You can find the Small Claims form on the gov.uk website. They charge a small fee (depending on how much you are claiming back) which can be paid by the defendant. Once you submit the form, The Coliseum have 3 weeks to respond. If they fail to respond, you can then file a County Court Judgement (CCJ) against them which will stay on their business record. Further legal can be taken from here but The Coliseum refunded my money back by this point. I am probably one of many clients that they tried to take advantage of during this pandemic. If anybody is experiencing this, please acknowledge that you are entitled to the whole amount of money (less any proven expenses). If they try and tell you that you should use the credit for another time, you should also refuse this as this is another unfair tactic they use to ensure they obtain business. Undoubtedly, there are many people and businesses suffering due to the pandemic but it does not mean that innocent people lose money for somebody else's gain.

Its a nice place to be.
Very attractive venue. Easy to access via an elevator/lift. It was a large event and everything ran smoothly. There was a stage for entertainment. Food and friendly people. The parking is located in a shopping centre across the street.
