This is a nice walk with sculptures to see along the way. The iconic giants chair is gone, it was one of my favourites, but the concrete acorn and fir cone are still there, and other interesting items. Really easy to follow signs, and I would describe it as a gentle walk, no really steep hills and a lot of man made paths. Cafe and parking onsite. Make sure you have some cash, ideally coins for parking, as despite allowing you to pay by mobile, neither my wife or I had a signal.

Lovely place for day out with family. Walking, cycling, running perfect for all. Sculptures are pretty rubbish or I just have no idea about art. Anyway highly recommended for day in the forest. Path is easy(2 steep hills can be demanding for some) and accessible for prams or wheelchairs.
We done the sculpture walk and it was lovely. Would be fun for the kids to do too. We then finished it with some food and hot drinks at the cafe. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Cheap day out (paid for parking to support Forestry Commission). We walked the whole of the Sculpture Trail, (used the map) about 4.5 miles. Enjoyed the art of some pieces, others didn't really do it for me.
The actual sculptures aren't mind-blowing and the stainglass at the end must be over 30 years old. But if you take the frame of mind that it's a pretty walk through the Forest of Dean with the sculptures being a (slight) added bonus then it's a very pleasant morning or afternoon walk. Facilities at the train head are good. Plenty of food and drink options. Free water fountain too.
