Worst work agency ever. Please don't sign up. They'll send you to companies who's only objective is to break your back and make you feel good about it. They yell at their liasons and talk very horrible things about you at work. Just because it looks good doesn't mean it is. This is in particular directed at people of ethnic origin who reside within the East Anglia region of the UK (more specifically Colchester). Speaking mainly from my own experiences with them. I have attached a photograph of an e-mail that came in accidentally from an exchange between the branch manager and a member of their payroll team after an enquiry about a Furlough request. The e-mail diverts from the subject and addresses issues I did not pose aside from outrightly treating me as an indeterminate figure, hinting towards racially motivated language. This isn't just terrifying for me but also for the number of people who are \othered\ and who are similar in appearance to myself. It really isn't worth all the mental or physical distress. Fought for my 7.5 hours unpaid moneys,next client again,3.75 hours unpaid,when i have spoken with clients problems was solved.Always lied.Was on 11.50 hour,was told on 10.50,got evidence go to ACAS.Thats enough. Was told to wait until the one of their managers will return from holidays from Greece.Nobody knows anything.When i asked to repay my moneys out of 240 total i received just 101 was taxed for 140. They still need to repay me the moneys,absolute mess,trusted them,was polite but thats enough.Registered my case with ACAS then Employment Tribunal and will provide all costs,lost earnings etc. I gave them one month to sort this mess Swanstaff doesnt care and this is Colchester Branch

I moved to Colchester and was looking for support work that would fit with my PA experience for a student with Cerebral Palsy. I was offered a lot of work, more than I could fit into my schedule. They tried to take into account my background and placed me in situations that were comfortable for me to start in, answered calls on a Sunday for directions to shifts even, and were all around very helpful. There was training offered (for free) on the outset, wages paid in good time. If you want to work in this industry and seek flexible work to fit in with other commitments, Swanstaff are a good choice from my experience.

I used to work for swanstaff. They have such lovely people in the office which is the first thing you notice. They always helped me with whatever I needed and were so kind to me. I once had a few issues at work and swanstaff really took my side and helped me which was great to have. They helped me find work when and where I needed. I would highly recommend them!
