Beautiful walk here yesterday, lovely to see so many people out enjoying the sunshine and all social Distancing. The Coffee hut is open by Batemans Tower which is a real asset! The Harbour area was very quiet, sadly the chip shop seems closed permanently but enjoyed our walk and saved some calories because we would definitely have had a bag of chips!

High spring tide at the hard. Brightlingsea is a quirky, friendly old fashioned seaside town. No funfairs, amusement arcades or kiss me quick hats!

We loved Brightlingsea Harbour. Arriving from the sea, having booked ahead for our boat's berth, we found the Harbour staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. They provided detailed, useful, information to ensure our visit was as enjoyable as possible. Seriously, tourist guides the world over could learn from these guys!
